A calm, simple cookie banner that blocks scripts until a visitor chooses. Works with page caching. No subscription, no premium version.

== Description ==

Lijn-B Consent asks for permission before scripts that set cookies or collect data are allowed to run, and does nothing more. No account, no license key, no upsells, no data sent to another party.

* You list the scripts to block, per category (Statistics, Marketing), by handle or by a part of the web address. A script can also be marked by hand, and an iframe can wait for consent.
* The banner has equal "Accept all" and "Reject all" buttons and a panel with a switch per category and a cookie table (name, purpose, duration). Choosing is as easy as refusing, and consent can be withdrawn at any time: the cookies you listed are removed and the page reloads.
* Works with page caching (LiteSpeed, WP Rocket, Cloudflare): the page is the same for everyone, blocked scripts are always delivered inactive and are started in the browser after the choice. Without JavaScript nothing blocked runs.
* Your own texts, colours, rounded corners, position (card, bar, centered), remembering time and an optional floating button to change the choice. Anything with the address `#cookie-instellingen` (a menu item, a link) or the shortcode `[lijnb_consent_settings]` opens the settings.
* A JavaScript event `lijnb-consent` and `window.lijnbConsent.heeft('statistics')` for your own code.
* English and Dutch interface (gettext). Self-hosted update checks and a discrete support button at ko-fi.com/lijnb.

This plugin helps with consent, but legal compliance is yours: it is not legal advice. Block every script that sets cookies or collects personal data, and describe your cookies in your privacy policy.

== Installation ==

1. Upload the plugin and activate it.
2. Go to Settings > Lijn-B Consent.
3. List the scripts to block (the handle is the id of the script tag without "-js") and the cookies they set.
4. Check your site in a private window.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= How do I find the handle of a script? =
View the page source and look for the script tag. The id is the handle followed by "-js", for example `analyticswp-js` means the handle `analyticswp`.

= Does it work with page caching? =
Yes. The banner is in every page and hidden until the browser sees there is no valid choice. Nothing is decided on the server per visitor.

= Where is the choice stored? =
In one cookie, `lbc_consent`, in the visitor's own browser. Nothing is stored on your server and no log is kept.

== Changelog ==

= 0.1.2 =
* Fix: "View details" in the plugin list could keep showing an older version after an update, because an old update check was still cached. An outdated cached check is now ignored.
* A clearer, framed invitation to support the plugin on Ko-fi at the bottom of the settings page (replaces the small grey line). The plugin stays free.

= 0.1.1 =
* Update checks: "Check again" on Dashboard > Updates now skips the plugin's own 6-hour cache, so a new release shows up straight away.

= 0.1.0 =
* First version.

== Upgrade Notice ==
